“Burberry on the importance of every action”
Burberry also joins the battle against covid-19 and makes its production centers available for the manufacture of masks and hospital gowns, both for doctors and patients.

In addition to this, the English Maison is helping with the distribution and substantially financing the search for a vaccine, through donations to Oxford University.
Burberry also underlines the importance of taking care of the daily needs of the population, thinking of helping families in economic difficulties. FareShare and The Felix Project, for example, are two charities that deal with food distribution and try to alleviate the pressure now weighting on a large part of the population. The demand for food supplies is growing more and more and requires double efforts from producers and suppliers.

On the brand’s Instagram profile you can find the simple explanation of its policy. Donations are aimed not only to hospitals and research but also “to charities that are dedicated to tackling food poverty across the UK”. And “With increasing pressures on food supplies for those in need, these organisations are expanding their efforts to help those struggling as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. Though we are apart, we stand together”.

In the state of emergency we are in, it is comforting to see how everybody’s efforts can lead to great efficiency. We must think of every little detail: giving support to medical workers, ensuring the progress of research, promoting social distancing and a responsible attitude. But we must not forget about our daily lives, which is equally important and involves mental health rather than physical one, allowing us to safeguard our dignity as individuals, our well-being and our strength.
