Copenhagen Fashion Week unveils the new dates

The next fashion shows of Copenhagen Fashion Week are scheduled from 2 to 4 February 2021, just like the previous edition of August 2020. Again, the default format will be hybrid, that is, it will include both digital events and some others in a live format.

The event will be inaugurated by the show of Schnayderman’s, represented by creative director Hampus Bernhoff, who declared himself enthusiastic to participate in the Fashion Week: “This is the first time that we are showing on an official schedule as we believe Copenhagen Fashion Week is a great platform to reach both a Scandinavian as well as an international audience. We are also very impressed by how Copenhagen Fashion Week has adapted quickly to the current climate, mixing digital and physical formats in a progressive way.” To close, there will be Henrik Vibskov, one of the most acclaimed independent designers of Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Among the leading brands, we find Ganni, Marimekko, House of Dagmar, Wood Wood, the London brand Rixo signed Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey, Stand Studio and many others.

Being the Copenhagen Fashion Week one of the events that made of sustainability its focal point, the Zalando Sustainability Awards was recently added to the schedule. This year’s jury includes important names such as green activist and model Arizona Muse and Morten Lehman, CSO of the Global Fashion Agenda. Among the finalists are Marimekko, Danish designer Lyngh Bjerregaard and House of Dagmar, while the winner will be proclaimed on the last day of the fashion week.
