COVID-19: Ralph Lauren restarts facilities to produce masks

American fashion giant Ralph Lauren joins the other fashion houses to fight coronavirus, contributing with the manufacture of 250,000 masks and 25,000 isolation gowns.

Ralph Lauren Corp also said it had withdrawn $475 million from an existing credit line and suspended the share buybacks to increase liquidity reserves needed to face this crisis.

The designer had previously closed the stores in North America and Europe, whereas this week will reopen the industries to start the production of medical material.
