COVID-19: YNAP’s delivery fleet donated to support the community in London

Yoox-Net-A-Porter announced that it has made its vehicles (usually intended for of high-end fashion products’ delivery) available to the Premier Delivery company, with which they will distribute food and first aid materials to seven Age UK charities in London.

The group will distribute in seven locations, including Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham, East London, Enfield, Camden, West London and Lambeth.

“During this critical time, these charities are working to ensure that elderly and vulnerable groups have access to essential care packages, food and medical supplies, while they are required to stay at home,” the company declared. Its donation is “immediately operational in response to the unprecedented level of need which is challenging charity resources”.

Previously, the group had joined other initiatives, including ensuring the transport in care packages of 100 computers for Italian schoolchildren, having listened the call of the Minister of Education and with them the creation of a digital educational content packages for remote- teaching on the ministry website.
