Etro Menswear SS ’22

Now on the third day of presentations, the Milan Fashion Week continues its journey with Etro, which hosted in Milan, on the abandoned tracks of Scalo Farini, its men’s collection spring-summer 2022.
The garments designed by Kean Etro, want to symbolize a tribute to Franco Battiato, who died on May 18, 2021. The designer had the good fortune to meet the master in 1985, an encounter that strongly influenced his creative vision. The family business, indeed, realized with the singer the set for his tour “Mondi Lontanissimi”.
The collection recalls the brand codes, its nomadic spirit and its thirst for adventure; the garments are fluid, while the vibrant and bright colors reflect the natural textures of summer.
A mix of fabrics alternate on dresses with a multiform style; the silk on sportive garments alternates with knit vests, the caftans dampen the sporty cut and render the look more casual chic. The Etro patterns on the pajamas and on the fluid shirts are unmissable.
Now a classic, the paisley textures shape the accessories, bags, belts and slippers. The animalier prints of the total look are combined with the archaic textures on bomber jackets and sweatshirts, while the metallic pants in coated canvas give a touch of fierceness to the fil coupé shirts.
