Farfetch launched Positively campaign for sustainability

On Word Environment Day (June 5) and World Oceans Day on June 8, Farfetch launched the Positively campaign.
The Positively Farfetch initiative is linked to the DNA of the brand, its origin as a dealer of used clothes, this time encouraged by production and other circular services.
Therefore, the business model remains unchanged, the leaders think rather to an expansion of the brand in a sustainable perspective. The goal is to become the reference of luxury goods resellers also with regards to sustainability.
As declared by the brand in a statement, the purpose of the campaign is: “[…]selling existing stock in small boutiques around the world, to better match supply and demand and so reduce waste”.
So, throughout the month of June, Farfetch propose a wide selection of garments for women, men and children. The selection will of course take place among the partners oriented to sustainable production.
Part of the initiative will also be the advice that consumers can take advantage of to review the organization of their closet. Among the other proposals, there is also the collection credits for the bag resale project Farfetch Second Life, but also the Farfetch Fix for the arrangement of used garments and the Farfetch Donate to give away clothes that we no longer wear.
