From AmazonLife to the new sustainable brand +Three°°°

On Earth Day, 22 April, a new sustainable leather goods brand will debut. Directly from the foundations of Amazonlife, Brazilian sustainable accessories label, +Three°°° is born, representing its natural evolution. The interest in sustainable production and a controlled supply chain are at the heart of its DNA.

The goal of +Three°°° is to meet the requirements of a site-specific project, dedicated entirely to the protection of the Amazon forest and to the community of Seringueiros.

For its market debut, the sustainable brand will launch four types of natural rubber bags. The material comes from the Amazon forest and is accompanied by a recyclable aluminum zip. The Tote Bag are versatile and functional to everyday life, thanks to the casual and minimal look with a sporty cut.

The brand’s name is inspired by the latest report of UNEP (United Nation Environment Program). The report explains how by 2050 global warming will exceed 3 degrees, generating disastrous effects for the ecosystem. To address this alarming problem, the brand collaborates with EFI – Ethical Fashion Initiative, the UN’s ethical fashion program. The organization works to create controlled supply chains, as well as job places in the most marginalized parts of the world.

In addition to this important collaboration, the brand will seek to achieve 95% of biodegradability in its products by the end of 2021. To achieve the goal, the brand uses recycled fabrics, such as nylon and others recovered from the oceans. But also fibers coming from nature, including the natural latex of rubber trees, nettle, bamboo, cotton, linen, and jute.

Acquired in 2020 by Lorenzo Braccialini, Amazonlife, presented in a completely new light, will be distributed in Italy and in the European markets, followed by Japan, the United States and South Korea.
