Hermès unveiled the spring 2021 men’s collection directly in the headquarters of the Maison. The video is simple and clean, as indeed is the timeless style of the French giant.
Indeed, the video directed by Cyril Teste sees the models walking in the showroom in what seems to be a preparation for a look book. Entitled Hors Champs, Behind the Scenes in English, the video presents the latest collection by Veronique Nichanian.
The style is, as always, timeless when it comes to Hermès. The classicism and elegance seem to freeze the garments in an indefinite temporal dimension, an eternal present.
The dominant color is Mediterranean blue, which takes on different shades, among the brightest ones up to the pastel colors. The collection includes striped cotton shirts, three-button linen suits, sweaters, light and comfortable shorts, silk shirts with abstract prints.
The video aired on July the 5th, anticipating the Menswear shows in Paris, which will begin on july 9th, by a few days. The creative direction of the video, together with a timeless collection, have created an excellent result given the precarious means in time of pandemic.
