“LFW Fall 2020: JW Anderson”

JW Anderson may not be exactly the designer for everyday. Even the “basic” garments, such as coats for example, are distorted and in Fall 2020 they are exaggeratedly architectural. Yet his collection does not appear heavy, nor too much, everything appears perfectly in order. This is because JW Anderson has summarized in 41 looks what each of us wants from her/his own wardrobe: clean and tailored impeccable looks, beautiful on the body, cool (who doesn’t want to be cool after all?) and a small percentage of madness that makes it all more interesting. 

In some cases, yellow satin jeweled shoes are enough to give light to a relaxed total black look. In other cases, you need a proper balloon shape dress with blue feathers.
It is a collection to be enjoyed and admired, without words but only emotions. In an uncertain period such as the current one in the fashion field (and especially speaking about fashion weeks), Anderson has been a breath of positivity and irreverence absolutely necessary.
