Shrimps went on stage at London Fashion Week with a collection that is decidedly sumptuous. Somehow it led us thinking of the winter holidays of some wealthy English lady. It is probably because of (faux) furs, which abound also on collars and sleeves. Or it is because of the mix of absolutely elegant clothes and more technical details, such as reinforced boots or thick-knitted hats. It is exactly the type of combination that we would expect from those who, during the Christmas holidays, divide themselves between ski slopes and luxurious dinners at the hotel.
Now, forgive us if the analogy is out of place and let’s move on with the collection.
The clothes are very rich in prints and materials. The red cocktail dress and the long white gown are so beautiful that they are worth everything. In addition to the prints, the applications are also to be mention, such as the red flowers on the blue fur coat and the yellow daisies on the white sleeve of the finale. All pretty much Shrimp in fact, which once again makes little pearls and mini decorations the real strength of its production.
