70s vibe is the key in Temperley London’s fall collection. Warm coloured prints, wide shapes on midi dresses and trousers and structured shoulders just to name a few. The waist is tightened.
The collection is a very good selection of day and evening wear. Black silk and interesting transparencies for the night, while for the office, the suit made of jacket, trousers and vest in full tomboy style, with large squares. But also the denim culottes paired with the long sweater, closed at the waist by a belt, is an outfit to mark on the agenda for next autumn winter.
As for the colours, they are all very bright. Whether it is the fabrics itself, or the embroidery on the cocktail dresses, elaborate and showy, they embellish the whole.
As much as accessories are meant to embellish each outfit – they occupy an important space in every look. Haed accessories first of all; bows and bands, which clearly tell us that hair accessories are not yet going out of style. And the shoes, all in patent leather and all tied up. There are both cream-coloured flat lace-ups, purple ballet flats paired with low socks, and then ankle boots. But the real gem is given by the boots tied up above the knee, which we really lovely and are already in our wishlist.
