LFW Fall 2021: Molly Goddard

Molly Goddard returns with her fantasy world, offering us a collection that releases bold colors and voluminous shapes. The designer, like many in this period, imagined the day of the end of the pandemic, when it will finally be possible to go out without fear and wear what we like most.

Goddard’s choice is enclosed in every single item of the collection, which is very discontinuous, full of different influences, colors and textures, which instead of confusing, create a precise excursus, outlining the fantastic, exaggerated and edgy spirit that distinguishes it.

Molly Goddard likes to experiment, to play with volumes and shapes, combining colors and overlapping fabrics, playing with the structure and plasticity that comes from it. Peculiar in this sense, are the fluffy tulle dresses, which combinations of fabric create an irregular structure, reminiscent of an 80s spirit.

To intensify the rebellious and playful spirit, the gold boots, the tartan and the plaid prints. Once again, Molly Goddard shows us the escapist power of fashion.
