Francesco Risso’s show, presented in Milan few days ago, was a enthusiastic blend of differente influences and style. The two main inspirations were Truman Capote and Che Guevara. Surprised? Well, we are. Two opposite worlds, meeting perfectly and creating something new, because the London fashion house wants us to reflect on our beliefs, not political only, and on how we make them ours.

On the other side, the location itself carried a very precise message. The ceiling was covered of plastic scraps collected on the beaches in the period before the show, after which everything will be transformed in art works by Judith Hopf. Scarp and art: it’s difficult to distinguish what’s one and what’s the other, it all depend on how you decide to look at it. Looks are a mix of style, polo t-shirts and sartorial trousers, good-boy like; and a lot of camouflage and colourful revolutionary beret. The final result is fascinating, fresh and crisp. Accessories are bizzarre too, with extra large hats, sneakers and furry sandals. It’s the perfect style for a summer explorative mission in the contemporary urban jungle.
