“MFW Fall 2020: Etro”

Etro’s Fall Winter 2020 collection is, as usual, very rich. When it comes to prints, colours, materials and shapes, the brand is certainly among the first in the ranking. Each Etro collection must be watched several times in order to enjoy every single beautiful detail.

Surprisingly, however, the looks we liked the most are the cleanest ones. The beige knitted suit for example, whose fit is exactly halfway between a tracksuit and a tailored suit. Or the midnight blue velvet dress. Or the perfect-cut tuxedo suit worn by the equally perfect Irina Shayk.

Apart from these small exceptions, the looks are imaginative, colourful, decidedly precious. Etro has proposed both elegant looks for the evening and office looks for the day, demonstrating once again how it is possible to remain true to oneself and to decline one’s aesthetic in potentially infinite languages.
