“MFW Fall 2020: Iceberg”

With an important parterre and a modern and minimal location, the Iceberg event for Fall 2020 fashion show is one of the most waited in Milan, especially for the youngest. Absolutely easy to understand, given that each new show of the Milan based brand proposes outfits with a street and minimal soul, smart at the right point to fit beautifully in the city setting. Each collection has a decidedly futuristic spirit and Autumn/Winter 2020 is no exception. Technical fabrics, interesting and alternating shapes, accessories that seem to come from an intergalactic journey. These are some of the highlights of the collection.

There is a lot of silver on the puffers but also on the boots tied at the knee. From the optical white of the beginning, we then move on to fluorescent colours, mainly green and pink. There is also, of course, a good dose of black, which stands out particularly on the more serious and tailored coats. Colours aside, what is interesting about the collection are shapes and textures of the fabrics. There are quilted jackets, puff dresses, pleated skirts and gathered belts. There is also a touch of coloured lace. Again, Iceberg does not focus so much on the layering of excessive and articulated outfits, but prefers simple and sinuous shapes, a good balance of adherent and baggy, with a focus on the very essence of the fabrics.
