“MFW Fall 2020: Moschino”

You may like Moschino or may not, de gustobus. What is beyond question however is Jeremy Scott’s genius. The 800 has never been so modern than in his show, where the characteristic features of the time play with decidedly contemporary and even street pieces, such as the tracksuit. First, the shapes. Well known bodices and panier (the “whale bone” structure positioned under the skirts to create the round shape around the woman) are used not only for dresses – all however very mini – but also for the trench coat for example, and the pink leather jacket, modified so as to take the desired shapes.
Heart shape necklines, bows, ruffle sleeves, but also shoes, mainly boots and ankle boots of different heights that are tightly tied. Along with all this, even the hairstyle takes up the fashion of the time. Then there are the totally foreign elements. Sailor Moon prints for example, buckles and earrings with the peace symbol, or knee-high inserts in trousers, which look just like knee pads to go on roller skates. The details are countless, the show is guaranteed.
ps. how beautiful is the coat completely covered with applied roses worn by Gigi Hadid?
