“MFW Fall 2020: Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini”

Lorenzo Serafini told us a beautiful – and very personal – story with the Autumn/Winter 2020 collection. He wanted to do something absolutely personal, to bring his touch outside the showroom, in the streets and among people. So he personally worked on prints, colours and dyes. He tried, experimented and mixed, and got an excellent result. The collection is a succession of truly particular garments and unique pieces. Not only it is beautiful, it is also full of meaning: creativity requires care and dedication.
If it is true that jackets, coats and blouses are very peculiar and eye catching, it is also true that we would buy all the trousers from this ready-to-wear collection. Those in laminated leather for example, or the quilted one in baloon shape, unicolour or with a mini floral pattern. Shorts are no less interesting. Then, at the end of the show, which is dedicated to elegant and occasional outfits, a jumpsuit with a deep neckline (and God knows how much we like deep neckline) in light blue and a suit in powder pink, both in satin: the magic point is reached. There is no garment that is not worth considering in this collection and, if you really want to know, we also love the hair style, lacquer on the top and very fluffy on the lengths. The notable details here are once again fringes, this time reminiscent of the boudoir of an elegant and capricious lady, and scarves, long and narrow and tied around the neck.
