Michael Kors announces his return to New York Fashion Week

Finally, the long-awaited announcement has arrived: Michael Kors will be back on the catwalks of New York Fashion Week with a live show planned for September 10.
The news catches everyone positively by surprise. Kors has not been on the catwalks since February 2020, when the designer had presented a collection at the former New York Stock Exchange. The long-awaited spring/summer 2022 collection will also debut online, on the brand’s official website.
Kors said he was excited about this return to the catwalks: “This is an important moment for New York and we are proud to support the city and the industry during New York Fashion Week”. The return to the catwalks coincides with the 40th anniversary of the maison, for which the designer had prepared an outdoor fashion show on Broadway. It supported of the entertainment sector, which suffered a lot from the pandemic.

Along with Michael Kors, many other designers confirmed their presence at Fashion Week. We will find again Gabriela Hearst, Jeremy Scott, Tom Browne, Pyer Moss. Other important brands including Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Altuzarra and Brandon Maxwell will parade in partnership with “IMG’s NYFW: The Shows” for the Fashion Alliance for the next three seasons.
