Milan Fashion Week: Alberta Ferretti SS21

Alberta Ferretti presented a Spring 2021 collection which brings together different inspirations, looks stolen by the male wardrobe and pieces decisively feminine. What mixes everything together is the fascinating for a certain soft ethnicity. In the airy blouses for example, but also in the studded leather accessories, in the bags with fringes and in the suede fabric. 

Fancy looks – made of shiny silky bralette and printed pants – are mixed with easy and intuitive daily wear – jumpsuits, for example, in denim and suede. Alberta Ferretti dedicated her collection to lightness and kindness, which, according to her, “are a form of strength”. For this reason the palette is light, shapes are fluid and laces design graceful lines on the models’ skin. 

The long dresses at the end of the show are just perfect for the upcoming summer. Their soft hug on the body give every woman self confidence and proactivity, which really bring to wellbeing and freedom.
