Milan Fashion Week: DSquared2 SS21

For next Spring 2021 DSquared2 decided to clean its otherwise rich and exuberant language. It is evident since the first picture of the lookbook: a minimal little black dress in a very clean look. It is clear as well that the two brothers of DSquared2, while going back to the essential, did not want to abdicate to their beloved sensuality, to the strong and trasgressive aesthetic they are used to. They just minimize the rest. The truth is we need very little to have a big impact, and even a single accessory can change the whole story of a look.

To sum it up, the collection offers “the right amount, the right pieces, the right things you need”. Minimalistic dresses first of all, but also pencil skirts with slits, polo with shirt and long sleeves and tops in light fabrics, suits in black cloths for the day and a couple of leathers sets. For the evening, you could also go for a pair of tailored trousers and a silk blouses with a deep neckline. Easy, isn’t it?

Two are the impactful fabrics of the collection. First of all, lace, which is worn with nothing underneath and design beautiful embroideries on the skin. On the opposite side, the tech shiny fabric used in the cargo pants, which are big, baggy and full of silver zips.
