Moncler has been reconfirmed for the second consecutive year as World Sustainability Champion in the Textiles, Apparel & Luxury Goods sector by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.
The positive opinion of the DJSI follows the latest project of social responsibility called Moncler Born to Protect, whose aim is to focus on five thematic areas: climate change, circular economy, responsible supply chain, enhancing diversity and supporting local communities.
Like many other brands nowadays, Moncler is continuing the road towards carbon neutrality, while trying to reuse production waste, implement the use of green nylon, and to definitely eliminate disposable plastic.
To all these excellent initiatives, there is also the recycling of feathers certified by the Dist Protocol. The use of this type of feather would help save 70% of water normally used in traditional recycling.
The environmental responsibility of the brand joins the social one with an initiative that will allow the distribution of products to protect from the cold about 100 thousand vulnerable families.
