Nobody knows what theaftermaths of the Covid-19 epidemic, that is immobilizing the world, will be. The only thing clear at the moment is that we must respect very specific rules to get out of this situation, in the best possible way.
It is with these premises that Federica Nardoni Spinetta, founder and responsible for the Chambre Monegasque de la Mode, has decided to postpone the Monte Carlo Fashion Week to a date to be defined. It is certainly not an easy decision, given the amount of interesting events that the organization was preparing for the audience. Among others, the highly anticipated fashion show by Ermanno Scervino. But it is a necessary measure.
The Chambre Monegasque de la Mode has always had at its heart sustainability, ethics and the well-being of all individuals who, in one way or another, gravitate around the fashion system. From creators, to producers, passing through journalists to final consumers, every effort made by MCFW is always aimed at creating thoughtful contents and arise the awareness. For this reason, the Covid-19 emergency is felt extremely deeply by the organization. Taking the front line to face this terrible situation is exactly what we would have expected from such a human and conscientious event.
