Paris Fashion Week: Carolina Herrera SS21

Getting back to reality is more important for some designers than others. Especially if “reality” means events, evenings and parties, in which a elegant attire is the norm. Carolina Herrera is certainly one of those fashion houses for which resizing imagination and aesthetic to everyday life is tiring if not impossible.

Spring 2021 therefore goes straight on its way, and designer Wes Gordon simply states that we will not remain in lockdown forever. When all this is over, Carolina Herrera’s elegance will finally explode, although there is no doubt that a legacy of what we have been through will remain with us. The dresses for next season are indeed simpler and more linear, all the fascination lays in details. For example, bows, flounces and tulle, but also maxi belts and openwork fabrics.

Those presented this season are dresses that can stay with you forever. The colours are basic, white and black, a touch of camel and red. Even the cuts are an evergreen, and highlight the body in the right way, making any woman feel at ease.
