Lots of femininity at Giambattista Valli fashion show, as usual. This time, however, a daily and wearable femininity, between creamy shades of pink, pearls and silver, floral motifs and black and white lace. There are also sequins, however, and a touch of tulle. Valli says he was inspired by what he sees every day in the streets of Paris and we wonder how much of this romantic fantasy really corresponds to reality. There are also masculine details however, to make it more balanced. Some double-breasted jackets and coats for example, but also the boots, edgy and technical, in shiny black leather and an thick sole.
The suit jacket and skirt in black with feathers is fantastic, and we particularly love the hat, rigid and tied under the chin. But also the ensemble that follows in candy pink, with longer feathers and a black velvet bow on the hair is a must have. Hair accessories are many indeed and are mainly flowers and bows, definitely doll-like. In addition to these there are also veils, which we have already seen around and which we expect to see soon even outside the catwalks. For Valli these are thicker and more visible in the look. A beautiful collection, in full Valli style.
