“PFW Fall 2020: Isabel Marant”

Isabel Marant collection is the (successful) attempt to make the designer’s usually very bohemian style a bit cleaner. If the shapes retain their sensual and very feminine aesthetic, with influences that come from the 80s and the characteristic insistence on the waist of the models, they meet with a simple palette, where monochromatic dominates. In a sense, Marant has turned her gaze to the urban and working dimension of her customers, offering more balanced and wearable looks. Maybe not everyone will like this turn, but we certainly will.
The shoulders remain accentuated, just as the belts are present in every look to guarantee the hourglass shape of which we spoke earlier. Jacket and blouse in floral print are very beautiful, as are the heavy sweaters, for both men and women, in shades of cream and gray. Sensual at the right point, but also practical and trendy for autumn, are the very high boots above the knee. The more Marant-style are those with studs.
