Stella McCartney’s show was kind of an oasis of peace in Paris Fashion Week. With the positivity that distinguishes her, the designer managed to make viewers smile, also involving them in a speech that, as usual for her, is focused on the environment. It is true that we have our imminent problems related to health and the economy, but we must not lose sight of the general framework and, above all, our struggle for the environment.
Thus, guests of the show were given baby plants which, if planted and grown, can reduce the show’s environmental impact to zero. Becoming “carbon-neutral” is an imperative for fashion companies that want to have a relevant voice in the near future.
In addition to this, the collection is very light and pleasant. The central theme is the animals that, from Stella McCartney, are never used in production. No leather, no fur and no feathers, only prints and prominent jewels with the shape of wild animals. The eco-leather is beautiful, just as we really like the boots with the technical tank sole.
