Pirelli Calendar 2021 cancelled due to COVID-19

The Cal, commonly known as Pirelli Calendar, canceled the project and publication of the 2021 calendar due to the spread of Coronavirus and the health emergency that caused. This was announced by CEO and executive vice president Marco Tronchetti Provera, who declared: “It has already happened in the past, in 1967 and then from 1975 to 1983, that the Pirelli Calendar was cancelled. The extraordinary Covid-19 emergency pushes us today to do the same. We will get back to work at the right time, together with those who were by our side for this project”.

The Cal will also donate €100,000 to support the research and the battle against the virus.

Since 1964 the Pirelli Calendar has become an institution in the world of fashion, representing the genius and creativity of over 37 photographers who have curated the project since its foundation.
The 2020 edition, Looking For Juliet, was curated by Italian photographer Paolo Roversi.
