Pitti Connect launches “The Sustainable Style”

Simultaneously with the launch of Pitti Connect, Pitti Uomo 98’s online platform, the organization will also launch “The Sustainable Style”. Inaugurated on July 16, the project will end on October 9, 2020, and will host 13 fashion designers together with Glenn Martens’ Y / Project brand as a special guest.

The aim of the initiative is to promote the activity of these designers, who have made of sustainability the core of their creations. The artists are coming from all over the world: Argentina, France, Hungary, Italy, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and Thailand.

The special guest brand, Y / Project, will present “Evergreen” the 100% sustainable collection. For this new line Glenn Martens won the ANDAM Family Fund Award together with Marine Serre, one of the most important awards for young designers.

The other participants will be Flavia La Rocca, Ksenia Schnaider, Kids of broken future, Myar, Nous Etudions, and many others. To crown the event, also a disruptive video by Vìron and the film “Finding Oasis” by the brand Philip Huang, which features the artisans of Sakon Nakhon in the Thai province working with natural dyes.
