Resort 2021: Ermanno Scervino

When, during the lockdown, Ermanno Scervino was looking for inspiration, help came from within “the walls” of his own home, near Florence. His botanical garden is not only of immense beauty, but also counts very rare specimens, of which the designer is proud. It is he himself who takes care of it and surely having such a wonder at hand provides a great advantage.

From this garden – where, among other things, the lookbook was photographed – the Scervino woman was born. Resort 2021 incorporates many of the stylistic canons of the Italian designer, who “steals” the grace of nature and makes it feminine and sexy, irreverent and irresistible. Not only. There is a particular feature that Scervino wants to enhance, and it is the great variety of species that coexist in the same strip of land. A variety that is reflected, in fact, in the recipients of the Resort collection, designed for many different women.

White dominates, with wide midi dresses and floral embroidery, but also with elegant suits. Each piece has a bohemian soul. In addition to denim, there is also a classic striped shirt, a pair of dresses with flower prints and embroidery and some black dresses. For us, the animal print was absolute – so intimately connected to the concept of nature and at the same time an artificial symbol of an all-female sensuality. We really like the animal print maxi dress with bias cut at the waist, and coat.
