This is not the first time that Intimissimi brings sustainable projects forward aimed at improving its production chain and ensuring a more ethical and responsibly realized product. For the latest initiative of Intimissimi goes green, the Veronese brand has partnered with Humana, the non-profit organization that promotes projects of international cooperation, circular economy and women’s empowerment.
The collaboration focuses on social sustainability, dealing with a very delicate issue that concerns the South of the World. Until May 31 it will be possible to go to the Intimissimi stores and donate used garments, receiving a card of 5 euros to spend in the boutique for every 5 clothes donated to the initiative.
This promotion will be available to customers who own the Myintimissimi card. Once donated, the items will be delivered to Humana.
The collaboration does not end there. Humana Italia- part of the Federation Humana People to People– has always been committed to raising consumer awareness on social issues, especially concerning women’s empowerment.
To support this commitment, Intimissimi will fund the project The Strength of Quilombola Women. Through this important initiative, the two brands will grant access to food to 50 women in Quilombola, Bahia, in Brazil. In this region, about 75% of the population survive in conditions of extreme poverty.
