Alabama Muse Fall-Winter 2025 Girls! An Ode to ’90s Pop Seduction

The Girls! collection draws inspiration from Alice Gentilucci’s work as a stylist in the ’90s, particularly from her iconic editorials for Vogue Italia during the era of Franca Sozzani.

This Fall-Winter 2025 collection is a tribute to femininity and the bohemian romanticism that define the Alabama Muse girls, muses of seduction and character. The concept recalls the atmosphere of a beauty salon, a place of gathering and female camaraderie, where between manicures and blowouts, women chat, laugh, and take time for themselves.

The wardrobe stands out for its unisex and inclusive spirit, embracing a language of empowerment where men, too, become protagonists. Some pieces are genderless, designed to be shared with a boyfriend or best friend, reinforcing the idea of a free and fluid fashion.

The collection’s iconic element is eco-fur, a symbol of seduction that respects animals, embodying ethical and responsible elegance. Clean lines and oversized volumes define the pieces, blending classicism with glamour. Maxi coats with large collars, oversized vests worn over jackets, and standout pieces like Kate, with its cloud-like effect adorned with a statement pearl at the neckline, express a sophisticated yet modern aesthetic. One of Alabama Muse’s signature design features is the internal straps, allowing garments to be worn like backpacks, adding a functional twist to the style.

The color palette pays homage to nature: from mink tones to pure white cheetah fur inspired by Mongolia, and bicolor burgundy and milk jacquards in kidassia. Glossy pink and deep black in soft seal fur complete the range of hues. Every piece is the result of Italian craftsmanship, created with meticulous care and attention to detail.

Beyond fashion, Girls! celebrates Alice Gentilucci’s career as a stylist and her collaboration with Vogue Italia under the direction of Franca Sozzani, who gave her the creative freedom to work with some of the most visionary photographers of the time. Among them, the collaboration with Ellen von Unwerth stands out – her partnership with Gentilucci gave birth to an iconic feminine aesthetic. Their relationship, both professional and personal, evolved into a deep friendship, culminating in unforgettable editorials such as Toute Petite (1994), published in Vogue Italia with Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington, inspired by the Kessler Twins.

Now, 31 years later, Girls! revives that same spirit, celebrating female beauty and camaraderie, reinterpreted through a fashion vision that looks to the future without forgetting the past.
