The coronavirus pandemic has forced the fashion world to reinvent itself, presenting innovative solutions not to completely put on hold an already heavily oppressed system.
So, Dolce & Gabbana keep up with the times by presenting the DG Digital Show for the next scheduled events.
The DG Digital Show, as the title suggests, is an innovative digital platform that will host the men’s and women’s collections of the Italian brand.
The platform has already debuted on November 13 with the collection “Walking In The Street”, already available for purchase on the official website of the brand and in boutiques.
The challenge of digital platforms is, as we know, to be able to involve an audience sitting comfortably on the sofa, a goal that is not always easy to achieve.
However, Dolce & Gabbana has managed to virtually recreate all the highlights of a real défilé, from the setting up and the engaging atmosphere, up to the dynamism with which the new collection was presented.
“Walking In The Street”, as the digital project framing it, is a dynamic, fresh and casual collection, where exceptional tailoring skills meet the 90s-inspired urban style in an interesting combination of relaxed cuts, sports blazers and bold prints.
