The balance between the desire to escape and the need for protection

During recent months the advent of the vaccine has certainly accelerated the escape from the darkest period of the pandemic, and shed more light on the moment of transition that we are going through. These are still uncertain times, of course, but perhaps more positive. This is also reflected in fashion, whose latest spring-summer collections have expressed more than ever the desire for openness, rediscovery and adventure, in the name of color, cocktail dresses and evening gowns to show off at outdoor events.

The proposals for fall winter 2021/’22 are not entirely different, on the contrary they perfectly represent the balance between the desire to escape and the need for protection.

For this reason winter fashion looks are really interesting, especially considering the latest trends in accessories. From the proposals that the LATEST team has selected, different trends emerge alongside several ways of dealing with the coming winter.
