J’amemme Le Solstice d’Hiver Fall/Winter 2024-2025

Inspired by the works of Ukrainian illustrator Okhrim Sudomora, Le Solstice d’Hiver – or The Winter Solstice – is both the name and the inspiration behind J’amemme’s Fall/Winter 2024-2025 collection. The collection features nude sequins and ethereal pleats that recreate the world of micelles, along with the authentic shapes and textures inherent in the artist’s work.

For Julia Yarmoliuk, the brand’s designer, the worlds of art and nature have always been intrinsically connected. Fused with art, the micellar elements – forms that are difficult for the human mind to envision – serve as the foundation of transformation and inspire the collection’s bold color contrasts.

An open dialogue between textures and diverse geometries highlights the brand’s distinctive codes: fluid lines and liquid sequins, architectural silhouettes that strike a balance between playfulness and sensuality.

J’amemme embraces a couture craftsmanship approach: the nude sequin dress, with its unique color and material, creates the illusion of a second skin. Its uniqueness lies in the meticulous process of cutting along the fabric’s edges to define the silhouette before the sequins are sewn onto the piece, ensuring comfort and softness against the skin.

The collection also explores hybrid forms: from the cape dress to hypertrophied shoulders – traditionally considered a masculine design element – here reinterpreted in dresses and skirt suits. A rich autumnal palette of burgundy, blush pink, and black, with occasional luminous accents, defines the elegant atmosphere of the cold season.
