DSquared2’s brothers Dean and Dan were among the few to appreciate the lockdown period and what it meant for the creation of the new collections. Presenting their latest Menswear, they have indeed declared that they are willing to continue smart working, trying to work in this way also in the future.
Maybe it was because they spent the last period of confinement in Cyprus, in a kind of (very) long vacation, or perhaps because they used what they call the three A method: Acceptance, Appreciation and Adapt. However, their work has been profitable and they have served us a very energetic Menswear collection.
Energetic also because it takes its cue, in most details, from the world of sport. There is an abundance of technical fabric for example, sweatshirts, bomber jackets and trucksuits, all made adjustable by smart drawstrings. There is also denim, of course, and some formal looks, especially suits. However, these too are far from pretentious. Despite the refinement of some blazers, the ensemble keeps an irresistible relaxed allure.
