Milano Moda Uomo is getting ready to open the new year: fashion shows are programmed to show between the 15th and the 19th of January and they will be, once again, in a hybrid format. The program counts 37 brands, among which 5 will be held in person, according to the “traditional” style (with the necessary measures): Dolce&Gabbana, Fendi and Etro, together with K-Way and Solid Homme. These latter two are part of the new entries (10 in total) which will show for the first time in the Italian fashion capital. Milan reconfirms itself as the vessel of young voices: it shined last September for its vitality, innovative approach and spirit and the goal is, of course, to replicate next month.
Despite the challenging period, this seems to be a fruitful time for emerging talents. Or maybe it is because of the difficulties they have recently faced that they are now masters in the precious art of resilience, teaching to big names of the systems too. Whether the reason, Milan will be once again an important step and expectations rise high. It is also because the Made in Italy production has always been the symbol of excellence and quality, but also of other adjectives today more important than ever. Sustainability and fair work, together with inclusivity, are inner parts of the Italian system, based on craftsmanship and districts. The Milan Fashion Week, with its insights and special content, will shed new light on these topics too.
You can watch the complete offer on milanofashionweek.cameramoda.it. Fashion shows, interviews and special talks, together with the private space every brand has to showcase its collection to buyers and consumers. The idea of collaboration is central. It has been a hot topic throughout the year, as the only tangible solution to the current time of uncertainty and crisis. There’s strength in numbers, right? To work together towards common goals means to go beyond the limits of the fashion system itself, collaborating with outer realities: each of them bring added values. In January, the Camera Nazionale della Moda will cooperate, for the first time, with the Fashion Film Festival Milano. We will have the opportunity to see more than 200 exclusive fashion movies, from all around the world, and it will be a moment of sharing thoughts, emotions and points of view with, at the center, the common passion for fashion, which is – and will always be – the source of inspiration for every one of us.
