Twenty Years of Dreams and Style: “Giorgio Armani Privé 2005–2025” Opens at Armani/Silos
Milan celebrates the timeless elegance of Giorgio Armani with the new exhibition Giorgio Armani Privé 2005–2025 – Twenty Years of Haute Couture, inaugurated on May 20th at Armani/Silos. Personally curated by the designer, the show retraces two decades of Haute Couture creations that embody his unmistakable vision – a synthesis of pure form, luxurious fabrics, and refined craftsmanship.
First presented in Paris in 2005, the Privé line represents the most daring and poetic side of the maison. It is a sartorial language that, while sharing the linear and essential stylistic signature of prêt-à-porter, opens up here to new experiments: impeccable cuts, jewel-like embroidery, meticulous workmanship, and inspirations drawn from distant worlds.

Within this exhibition space, Armani presents his Haute Couture as a sensory journey that blends dream and reality. Each garment becomes part of an immersive narrative: through colors and shapes, sounds and scents, the viewer is guided along a path that intertwines memory and innovation. Enhancing the experience are the fragrance Bois d’Encens – a hallmark of the Armani/Privé Haute Couture fragrance collection – and an original soundtrack composed by L’Antidote.
Light, a key element of the narrative, becomes both a metaphor for invention and a scenic feature: pearlescent reflections, lunar hues, and precious gleamsaccompany every step, illuminating garments that are true works of art. “In my Haute Couture collections, I express my vision of style and elegance through the art of craftsmanship and savoir faire: only here can I do so without setting any limits. Twenty years of Giorgio Armani Privé have been an astonishing, liberating journey that I now wish to share with a broader audience—inviting them into the daydream of garments made of fantasy and grace. A precious world that, in this exhibition, becomes an emotional surprise,” said Giorgio Armani.

The exhibition will be open to the public from May 21 to December 28, 2025.
