Fantastic Green: MSGM’s sustainable capsule
MSGM starts reflecting on a new way of producing and narrating fashion and this time it does so by launching a new eco-sustainable capsule made with 100% recycled materials. Fantastic Green is the name of the collection and all there is to know is in fact contained in the title.
Massimo Giorgetti’s brand marks yet another turning point in the fashion sector by moving towards a more sustainable and ethical approach. Fantastic Green presents a wide range of products; from sweatshirts to t-shirts, from pants to shorts. Among the materials, GOTS and BCI certified organic cotton reigns. The biodegradable ink on graphic prints was obtained from an aqueous base of natural origin without the use of chemical agents. The packaging is equally sustainable: hangers and bags are made of recycled plastic, as well as labels, made with recycled polyester.
“It is difficult to imagine the future without thinking about a green fashion. We must all work so that the production chain evolves, transforms itself in respect for the environment. With the ‘Fantastic green’ collection, Msgm starts a process of experimentation and innovation, which will lead it to rethink, step by step, all the activities in a green key. He takes a concrete commitment and signs a declaration of love for nature, a declaration that I felt the duty to make, especially at this moment in time”, Giorgetti declared.
The collection will be available starting from January 2021.
