Isabel Marant Ready-to-Wear SS22

Isabel Marant has created her new spring-summer 2022 collection to respond to a simple objective: to best represent her personal summer idea, made of volant dresses, lots of color, and outdoor sports activities.
With two new openings coming up – the first on Madison Avenue, the second in Miami- Isabel Marant is preparing for the next summer with completely new clothes, especially suitable for the places where the brand is expanding.

Indeed, her light and fresh clothes fit perfectly for a summer in Miami, especially with some 80’s details – the volumes of blouson shirts and dresses.
In addition, the collection is enriched with new details: the introduction of a new logo on shorts and Henley shirts evokes the style of those TV series set on the sunniest beaches of America.

Another unmissable detail is the smile of some models who were on the catwalk, which is definitely one of the things you almost never have the luck to see in a show, whether this is live or digital. Indeed, this small, but definitely significant detail was functional to the message that the entire collection intended to communicate.

As for the rest of the collection, many jumpsuits, denim pieces, and as many sportive cuts. The color palette is perfectly in line with the entire mood of the collection; it starts with shades of yellow and orange, then moves smoothly to pink and purple, ending to midnight shades. “It’s like a sunset,” said the designer; definitely a relaxing image that makes us nostalgically travel back to the summer that just ended and ardently desire the one that will come.
