One of the most innovative young French designers, Simon Porte Jacquemus, has announced that his homonymous brand will stage a live show in a still-unknown location. The announcement on Instagram intrigued both fans and insiders.
The collection titled “L’amour”, already has a clear intention set a year ago, namely to present the men’s and women’s collection together in January and June. In addition to the presentations, production will also slow down, and in the same way, the fabrics will also be recycled and mutualized in both women’s and men’s collections.
The spring-summer 2021 fashion show is scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2020 and will comply with the health regulations foreseen due to the pandemic. Indeed, there will be less than 100 guests and the location will be outdoors, not far from Paris. A year ago the brand had enchanted everyone with the splendid location in the lavender fields in Provence, Simon’s birthplace.
All that remains to be seen is what the chosen space will be and in the meantime, we can imagine what the creations will be. Any daydream, however, will never match the magical Mediterranean atmospheres we are used to with Jacquemus.
