EGONlab is one of those brands that has accepted the digital imposition exactly for what it is, that is to say, a new immense possibility of expression. Their virtual walkway was pleasantly “without borders”, because it moved from a black and potentially infinite universe to the surface of what looked like a crater about to explode, up to the deserted and snowy winter landscape.
There is something apocalyptic in the background, and the theme of the presentation moves in the same direction. Renewal refers to the myth of rebirth and, at the beginning of the video, the creators explain that a new group of thinkers has joined together, during these dark times, and they will be the ones bringing salvation, in what form is still unknown.
For now we know that their preferences in terms of clothing are aimed at hyper modern and tailored combinations, together with some pieces with a vintage aftertaste. To infuse this pinch of retro melancholy are the garments made in collaboration with Sergio Tacchini: the sweatshirt with the logo, for example, and the white cat Minù – directly from the Aristocats – in the background. For the rest, futuristic combat boots, tailored suits with knee-length bermuda shorts and layered and tattered tops.
