Tod’s ventures, with each new season, into new aesthetic territories, trying to evolve into something more refined and chic, far from its usual offer. Well known for its relaxed, sporty-chic style, and renowned for its amazing raw materials, the brand is now trying to expand its collections towards an ideal of a more elegant and refined woman, and for this reason, the Autumn-Winter collection 2021 strongly plays on femininity.
The DNA remains unaffected. Loafers and tailored trousers, impeccably cut shirts and very comfortable midi skirts in coloured leather. Meanwhile, small details are added to the whole: first of all, the silhouette becomes more fitted, especially in midi dresses, which follow the curves of the body and make them visible. Secondly, the outerwear is enriched with soft collars, the shirts with bows, the sunglasses have an elongated cat shape.
The collection is wearable, feminine and smart, and some pieces are worth keeping an eye on. The chunky loafers to begin with, but also the two-tone midi skirt and the lemon yellow bomber jacket. The exaggeratedly maxi bags (they have been on our radar for a while now), the balaclava and the long knitted gloves are beautiful.
