Milan Fashion Week blooms again with live events

Milano Moda Uomo gradually returns to normal with a program of live events starting on June 18, 2021.

For a total of 63 brands ready to parade, Milano Moda Uomo is considered one of the safest fashion weeks in the world, thanks to the anti COVID-19 prevention system with tampons available for guests and insiders.

Among the novelties of this year there is the presence of Diesel, whose new creative director Glenn Martens will present his first collection called allgender on June 21. To celebrate the beginning of the week, June 19 will be the turn of a cocktail opening, which will take place in Milan in compliance with the safety rules in force.

To parade, there will be old and new protagonists; Dolce & Gabbana will parade on June 19, followed by Etro on June 20 and Giorgio Armani on June 21. In order to encourage the new entries in fashion design, the White program at the Fondazione Sozzani Tazzoli Milano will take place. The program includes the presentation of 10 emerging Italian and international designers.

Fashion Week, however, will not abandon the digital formats, which will instead act as a sounding board to reach every corner of the world. The partner Tencent Video indeed, will ensure the digital expansion to China. Indeed, China in this period is the absolute protagonist of the rise of luxury on the market; according to the analysis of Camera della Moda, it is in fact expected to close the year with a turnover of 80 billion, 17% more than 2020.
