Hermès is, for several reasons, a very tactile brand. It is, first of all, because of its attention to fabrics and materials, such as leather and knitwear, which make every collection not only beautiful to be seen, but especially amazing to be touched. In some sense then, we could say that for the designer Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski and her creative team, the lockdown first and the social distance later have been more difficult than to others. The Spring 2021 collection by Hermès has been created with the wish to give to women comfortable and luxurious garments to wear, which play with sensations and give the illusion of an hug.
The clothes are rather minimalistic. The colour palette is basic and natural, as usual to the French Maison, and fabrics are at the center of the interest, with leather and suede and knitwear. While presenting her work, the designer explained her idea of a sensual modern woman. The collection have no forced outfits or showing garments, but only some catchy details, that are enough to move the entire scene. For example, the knitted body, cut on the sides and showing gently the shape of the waist in a sensual way.

Hermès has always been extremely refined: its clothes are modern but also meant to last a lifetime, without loosing their fascination. This collection seems to be even more mature than others, with garments and accessories that are the pure quintessence of the modern woman.
