Tod’s Menswear SS ’22
In the splendid setting of Cantina Petra in Suvereto, designed by Mario Botta, the presentation of Tod’s menswear spring-summer 2022 collection took place.
Crossed by the magnificent natural light, five models presented the new garments completely in harmony with the surrounding natural landscape. Not surprisingly, Under the Italian Sun was the title of the show.
The collection, designed by creative director Walter Chiapponi, transfers the ideal of Italian lifestyle to fabrics and the overall style. The Tuscan countryside lends itself perfectly to the performance of this intent; so too, the color palette, which borrows the natural bright colors illuminated by the scorching sun.
Yellow and brown – two classic colors of the brand- alternate with the cooler and more summer colors of blue and green – alternating on garments with a comfortable fit and clear functionality.
The artisanal values are combined with the classic and elegant aesthetics, resulting in a style that is not ostentatious at all, but with well-defined contours, in which stands out first of all the artisanal quality of a timeless product.
To add a touch of modernity, the accessories, such as the maxi tote bags and the leather inserts on jackets. Also unmissable, the designer loafers, and the sneakers for a more sporty and practical touch.
