Paris is getting ready for a month full of events, even if the expression should be put into quotation marks, since the majority of the appointments will take place online. Haute Couture will go on stage from the 6th to the 8th of July, followed straight by the Menswear prêt-à-porter, streamed from the 9th to the 13th of July on the digital platform owned by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.
Menswear Fashion Week is going to be fuller than usual, with 68 events in total, 8 of which are new in the panel. For the first time in the Paris Fashion Week we will find French labels Alled-Martinez, Cool TM and Egonlab, plus the Japanese label Kolor, Ernest W Baker from Portugal and Kidsuper and Reese Cooper from US. Together with them, Isabel Marant Homme is another new entry.
This is a promising Fashion Week because, along with well known names, we will find experimental brands, young and very interesting. The program is tight, with less (temporal) space between presentations: digital platforms give us the possibility to follow all the shows from our couch and half an hour between a runway and the next one is more than sufficient. Below you can find the official calendar, to keep close in order not to miss something. We have the feeling that we will start seeing some aftermaths of the pandemic in the awaiting presentations.
