According to the Cambridge Dictionary, a geek is someone
who is intelligent, but not fashionable or popular.
A brainiac, a nerd. Fashion takes from subcultures because
it constantly needs novelties and is always looking for
the different: what is new, “ugly” in a certain sense,
becomes fashion and vice versa.
Geeks are the Gucci man and woman,
for example. In popular culture they
would be probably considered losers,
yet we like them so much.
Fashion and anti fashion,
today the line is so thin that it is
almost imperceptible.
